“Sniper’s Day” is among sixty novels that have made the Chanticleer International Book Awards (CIBA) Long List for the 2023 best novel in their Clue Suspense/Thriller Fiction category – it’s a little like having made the playoffs in a professional team sport.

The Clue Book Awards recognize emerging new talent and outstanding works in suspense and thriller novels.

Long List titles move forward in the judging rounds and are now in competition for the 2023 Clue Short List. Short Listers then compete for Semi-Finalist positions. Finalists will be selected from the Semi-Finalists.

Finalists are announced and recognized at the Chanticleer Authors Conference next spring in Bellingham, Washington, where a first-place winner is named from among the finalists.
