After a yearlong hiatus because of the pandemic, book fairs are now starting up again. Hooray!

This Saturday, 7/24, I will join a dozen-and-a-half other area authors at the Bishop Hill Book Fair from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. We will be at the Bishop Hill Creative Commons at 309 North Bishop Hill Road.

I love talking to the folks whose curiosity is piqued by Ro’s intense look – see the poster behind me in the photo taken at the Dixon, Ill., book fair a few weeks ago.

The easiest way to get to Bishop Hill from the QC is take I-74 south toward Peoria. Exit at Woodhull and take Rt. 91 east for appx. 10 miles to Bishop Hill Road.

Besides the book fair, throughout the day there are workshops designed for aspiring authors.
